Prompt : Diagrid
The entire idea revolved around the essence of Diagrid and we tried establishing a relationship
between the material, forces acting on it and the geometry that is being formed .
DESIGN 1
The idea was to create a semi circular space the encloses the kitchen and the sitting area.
But the Diagrid in this design acted only as a visual member and not a structural one.
DESIGN 2
The attempt of diagrid being the structural member was achieved but the kitchen being small felt very suffocating.

maintaining the proportions between the human and the space,
We wanted to create an organic shape for better interactions.

DESIGN 4
To make it look denser, we used the same length of bamboo and maintained diagrids throughout the structure.
This design is upscaled to 1:10 and is made with the details of 1:1.
There is tension and compression acting on the structure.
